Aspects of me
First, I'm human, full of contradictions, complexities, hope, and grace - I'm like you! I observe, coach, teach, and speak, and for over 20 years I’ve had the privilege of working with people from all walks of life—parents, educators, professional athletes, founders, attorneys, executives, and CEOs.
People sometimes say I have a gift for working with “difficult” situations. I see it a little differently. I’m simply good at being with people—listening deeply, without judgment—and helping them notice what’s getting in the way of their own clarity. When that happens, change doesn’t need to be forced. It unfolds naturally.
My work is grounded in an understanding of the Three Principles—Mind, Thought, and Consciousness. In simple terms, this means I help people see how their experience is being created from the inside out. When that becomes clear, old patterns loosen, perspective shifts, and fresh thinking becomes available—often without effort.
How I Got Here
I’ve always been curious. My path reflects that. I studied English, Journalism, Archaeology, Environmental Science, and eventually Geoscience and Organizational Leadership—attending Pasadena City College, UCLA, USC, and UOP along the way. I’ve a wide range of interests, arising from a curious mind.
That curiosity led me around the world. For 20 years, I worked in oil and gas as a geoscientist across South America, Southeast Asia, Western Europe, the southern U.S., and California. I had the opportunity to collaborate with incredibly bright people from many cultures and backgrounds. Those experiences shaped how I listen and how I understand people.
Eventually, I felt a clear pull to shift my focus—from rocks to people.
Over the last two decades, I’ve worked in business consulting, organizational development, and transformative coaching. As the founder of Purpose Centered and Coach Extraordinaire, I support individuals and organizations in creating healthier cultures—places where people gain clearly, relate better, and perform at their best.
What It’s Like to Work With Me
Clients often say they feel calmer, clearer, and more themselves after our conversations.
Our work together is thoughtful, practical, and surprisingly light. We focus less on strategies and more on understanding how experience is created. As clarity grows, old patterns fall away, new possibilities appear, and action becomes easier and more effective.
There’s no pressure to perform or become someone else—just an honest exploration that leads to lasting change.
My Grounding
More than anything else, I’m a husband, a dad, a granddad, a friend, and a follower of Christ. Those roles keep me grounded and remind me daily of what truly matters. I feel incredibly fortunate to do work that aligns with who I am and what I care about most.
Who You Really Are
You are already whole, already worthy, and already enough.
Beneath the noise of thinking, old stories, and learned limitations is a natural state of clarity, confidence, and calm. Nothing is broken. Nothing needs to be fixed. My work is simply to help you see what’s been in the way of what’s already true.
As that understanding returns, life and leadership begin to feel lighter. Decisions become clearer. You stop operating from fear or self-doubt and start responding from presence, wisdom, and authenticity.
This isn’t about learning another method. It’s about creating space for insight—where your own answers naturally emerge.
If you’re ready to slow down, reconnect with your clarity, and move forward from a deeper place of knowing, I invite you to schedule a conversation. Let’s explore what becomes possible when you lead from who you really are...
